I know that you can put Magic modules in a Legend carrier by adding a clamshell but can you go the other way and put Legend modules in a Magic carrier?

In actuality, yes.. They don't look great, and none of the ports will be numbered.. heck, you won't necessarily know what kind of card you're looking at..

Last time I put a Legend 012 in a metal carrier, I noticed that I was stressing out the RJ-45 connectors soldered to the board, so I had to adjust where I was putting pressure (since it takes a bit to push those cards into the card edge slot.)

but the backplane is the same, so electrically it works..

What I am interested to know is, has anyone experimented with taking the grey "covers" off of a dead Magix module, and somehow putting them on a Legend module?
