MACs wont join cisco wireless network??

I have 4 cisco 1200 APs in our building. They are all currently setup with 3 vlans (Privte,Public, voice) Using 128 wep for private, and 40 wep for public. Clients come in with their MAC laptops and cannot join our public network! I cannot figure out why. Actually I should clarify, we have a had a few people able to join with macs but most of them cannot. Is there a setting in the cisco's that needs to be ON/Off? Is is a MAC OS issue? Anything will help. thanks

prefixed the shared key with a $ on the MAC machines.
I have had this issues as well with a few Mac computers and found that little tidbit doing a google group search and was quite surprised that it was the cure when using a HEX key for security.
