Macs on MS AD printing via print queues on Windows 2000 Server

Hi,

Does anybody have any experience of Macs that are bound to an Active Directory and how they print via print queues setup on a Windows 2000 Server ?

Since our Macs have been bound to the AD, the Macs can now see the print queues however I get get cannot connect to Samba host errors when I try to print via them.
I wondered if it was necessary to have Print Services for Unix installed and running to achieve this ?

Any help would be much appreciated.
