Hi,

Is it possible to alter a form in Sage 6.1, I want to add a function that automatically adds an extra line on the Order Entry form before posting.

Any work around without the SDK.

You can create your own form, place the original OCX file onto your form and add some stuff.

Thanks Ettienne, can this be done in VB.NET?...... (with VB 6) am able to have all the controls in place, Do I have to code all the controls,seems there is no code for them.

It can be done in VB.NET but there's a few extra steps involved to stop your program from simply not working. Search this forum and you should be able to find some .Net examples. I'd recommend tracking down a VB 6 install CD and use it for your customization. It's easier.

Do it in VB6.0 since the function you want to add is simple and it is ocx related. VB6.0 is a lot easier for stuff like that.

You can do all of this in VBA, the main difference being that you can't compile an EXE in VBA.
