Macros Not Staying Assigned to Buttons SO8

Hi, just finishing off a spreadsheet there's one problem with it.

I record a macro to sort data on a page then record another one to reset the page to how it was. I assign them to buttons and they work fine, I can run them as many times as I like. That is until I then save the spreadsheet, close it down and go back into it. The macros are still there but they are no longer assigned to the buttons.

Anyone else had this problem or is it something I'm not doing? They are in a module that is in the subfolder of the spreadsheet I'm using.

Any help much appreciated.

OK I'll correct myself here, I was saving them in "My Macros" then I put them in the document subfolder. Since I've done that it's not even saving them, they're just not there when i go back into the spreadsheet.
