I would be really grateful if someone can help me

Can I put a macro button into a Word document rather than have it on the toolbar. I know I can do it in Excel, but am struggling to do it in Word

It may not be possible, but I just wondered if it was

Thank you

View, Toolbars, Control Toolbox
Add a CommandButton to the Document ......

(I have never actually done this before 2 minutes ago but it appears to work)

Gavin

Thank you for your help. I am still trying to make it work with what I need it to do, but I appreciate your support

Best wishes
Lynne

Do you still need help?
Did you add the CommandButton as Gavin said?
After adding the button, you can right click on it and select "View Code". If you have a macro named "macro1" for example, you simply type it in as shown in the example below. Then go back to your document, exit design mode, and the button should work.

Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
macro1
End Sub

If you still do not have it working, perhaps tell us what it is you are trying to do.
