Macros and coding suddenly gone

I placed some code in an Excel macro. After I saved and closes the file, I reopoened it to find the code gone! I thought I may have not saved properly so I did it again (and again) with the same result.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is my file possibly corrupt? The spreadsheet appears normal and the formulas are working fine.

What do you mean gone? Did you try Alt-F11?

Yes, I did try Alt-F11. The code is just not there. Brian
