what i'm actually trying to do is the following. i have an Excel product pricelist (containing the SKU, product name, Price,...). on the other side, i have a .doc template for propsals to customers that contain an embedded Excel sheet to put in the products the customers is interested in buying. i'm currently trying to have a macro (to be lauched from Excel)that will proceed as follow:
1-the user enters the quantities in front of every concerned product (in Excel)
2-the macro will scan the sheet and get the SKU, the product name, and the price of this reference that has a quantity in front of it
3-insert this info in Word
4-delete the quantity entered in Excel
5-go to the next reference and so on.
i have been able to do this with an Excel template but it looks so much better in Word, so i would appreciate your help doing this.
