I have written a macro that runs over several workbooks and several thousand rows of data. Here's the issue: One of the workbooks has 19 sheets in it and when my macro opens this particular workbook it stalls for about two seconds or so while it opens all of the sheets in what seems to be the code section(I think..). The reason I think it's being caused by this spreadsheet is due to it happening to me when I "View Code" on this sheet all of the worksheets open up in the Project viewer window and it takes time.

Not a big issue overall just annoying and I'm figuring there has to be a better way.

Hi,

Two seconds? Let's see; what could I do to occupy my time while I wait..........

BTW, how big is this workbook?

Skip,

Now wait a minute... I did say it was a "small" issue but annoying LOL and I'm trying to learn to build more efficient code. The file size is 10,817 kb. Is that what's doing it?

Nearly 11 meg just might, hmmmmmm?

I can remember back when we'd wait several minutes to load a file from a tape casette into 64 k memory.

Yeah but you (and I) lived in the dinosaur age Skip. Back in the days when quite a number of actions gave us time to make a coffee....and drink it.
