Macro Speed 123R5 vs 123R9 1

My computer Win XP Home PC died and I lost/destroyed program files to load 123R5 from. I am trying out SmartSuite Millennium which contains 123R9 for which I have program files.

I have a macro that takes 1 minute to load on R5 but takes 50 minutes to load on R9. I am looking for suggestions on where to obtain a copy of SmartSuite which contains 123R5 or a simple change to make this macro run 50X faster on 123R9.

The #1 floppy of the 36 disk set might be all I need to get back up on R5.

eBay a place to look.
I've purchased smartsuite 3 (diskette) and a combo smartsuite 4/96 cd there. All contain lotus r5. I got those because it was cheaper than buying R5 by itself; however later I did get a copy of R5. I had some problems with it,and since I had no history with R5, I've stayed with later 9 series versions.
(I also thought R5 was a little cleaner to install from the 7 diskette spreadsheet version than from the full smartsuite setup-either diskette or cd. You dont have to deal with a lot of the help and support files for full smartsuite.)

SmartSuite 96 is the "highest" version that contains 1-2-3 R5/01.

Go to the internet and search for "old software for sale",or "obslete software for sale".
There are several companies selling old/obslete software, especially Lotus 123. I bought a CD version of SmartSuite 96 for $25.00
