Hello people, really appreciate any help that can be given here, this one is quite urgent here where I work.

Recently we have upgraded to Windows XP Pro & Office 2003.

One of our users gets a message when she tries to run macros which says:

Macros are disabled as security levels are set too high.

She has also lost macros that were recorded previously whilst she was on Windows NT/Excel 97.

Another colleague who was upgraded on the same day also has this problem.

Any suggestions!?

Thank you.

Set macro security to MEDIUM - they will then be prompted as to whether to enable macros. HIGH security automatically DISABLES them

Hi Geoff and thanks for your advice.

Excuse my ignorance but how do you change the seetings? Is this in registry or something within Excel?

Much appreciated.
