I have a user experiencing the following problem.
When choosing File - Print, it seems before the document is printed a macro is executed that overwrites the footer. Is there a way to remove this? I assume that in some way this macro has been associated with the Print command. But I can't find anything on this. Any info would be helpful.

You didn't mention which product you're talking about.

If this is in Word 2000....

click TOOLS>CUSTOMIZE (The Customize windows opens)
Left-click on FILE (in the main window)
Right-click on PRINT... (in the drop down)
Left-click on RESET
close the customize window and check it out.

Tell us if this helps.
