A program written in VBA, Excel office 97, uses a worksheet for input and output and macro's for calculation, started with buttons on the worksheet.
The macro's are protected with a password. This prevents anyone else from reading or changing the macro.
This works very well untill I save the program again (f.i. after changing input). After saving the program has been changed into another one and the original is disapeared.
So the protection does not work.
Is there anybody who can give a clear explanation from the way Excell protects macro's?
