A friend of mine has used Lotus release 5 for the past 10 years - Now that he got a new pc without Windows 95, the macro print function is not working he gets the error - UNABLE TO ACCESS OUTPUT DEVICE - It seems like a print driver problem - does anyone know of a fix? He loves the macro language of Lotus and doesn't want to change..The same macro works when he uses release 9 on the same pc. His operating system is Windows XP home and he is tring to print to a Panansonic pin fed printer.

The macro print function works. It's the print-to-file that doesn't...right?
If so, you have two choices: install a print-file driver, or build your own macro (add-in) that can be invoked from any file.

e-mail me at dbfry_1503@hotmail.com - The print macro used to send a selected part of the spreadsheet directly to the printer, I don't know if it used a temp file to achieve the printing. Any way I can get it to print would be great as long as it uses the macro as the driving force. Thanks
