I have to ask if I just have not dug deep enough yet by I am seeing an increasing number of job postings out there asking for Macro experience.

Is there something different with Access 2010 that requires macro use over VBA or is this simply an education issue? Perhaps Access Services for Sharepoint does not play nice.... I am going to do more research on this later but I thought someone may have quicker insight.

Macros have become much more powerfull in recent versions of Access. While many of us seasoned Access programmers prefer VBA, the macros are deemed safer and will allow for hosting your Access application in SharePoint.

Thanks Duane,

So I am spot on about the Sharepoint support...

Macro's are safer... I am guessing that is because there are fewer trust issues or rather Macros do not need to be signed?
