Macro driven pivot table in Excel 2000

I have a query that uses 3 tables.
when I manually run a pivot table on the returned data I have no problems.

When I try to record a macro of this process and then play it afterwards, I get an error message saying thet the 'Addfields method of the Pivot Table class failed'

Does anyone know why this might be happening?
