Hi,

I have a macro that runs a series of delete and append queries. It runs fine. BUt once it is done, my copy of Access is sluggish and not all of the interface is showing. Task master shows Access is running, not non responding.

TIA

Danny

As far as I recall, you need to Compact the database at this stage, to speed it up again.

The DB is 17meg before running and after running the macro it is only almost 18 meg. I don't think that compacting is the solution.
