MacOSX-Newbie-.jsps appear as code

Extreme newbie here. Mac OS X 10.4.4, installed Tomcat 5.5.16. Servlets work fine, but .jsps display as .jsp/HTML code. Been at this for a solid 1.5 days and quite frustrated. Where should I look? Only online advice I've found is "reinstall your JSP engine" which I have. Thanks very much for any condescension :), and sincere apologies if this is the wrong forum.

Thanks, but never mind - it's working after re-re-installation, or something fixed it.
