We recently installed this upgrade for Macola. We are seeing two issues (intermittent) which Macola has not yet been able to resolve.
1.There have been 3 instances of Orders disappearing. The problem happens when Shipping attempts to select the line items to confirm-ship status. They are able to access the order header, but when they click to the lines, the order vanishes from their screen. Then next time anyone tries to access that order number, it’s not there at all. This happened on 5/17, 5/26 and 8/17. In all 3 cases, the orders involved were new orders entered for same-day ship.
In each instance, I found that the record had disappeared from OEORDHDR, but the records still existed in OEORDLIN.
There are no problems in inventory that stem from these occurrences.
2.There have been 3 instances of inventory errors that resulted when Shipping attempts to unselect an order that was previously marked as confirm-ship status. On the Inventory Transaction History report, the item quantity is subtracted when selected (this part works correctly), and then added it back when the order is unselected. Although the Inventory Transaction History report prints the expected ending inventory quantity after the transaction, on the next line of the Inventory History Report, the item quantity will have gone up by the same amount again (like a duplicate of the ‘unselect’ transaction). The inventory quantity on hand has been determined to be incorrect, and in the Inventory Distribution to GL file, there is a transaction for the dollar amount of the phantom duplicate unselect transaction.
Any suggestions. Macola feels these are non related issues but we are not convinced of that although the issues happened at completely times after the upgrade.
