We are on version 4.0.0.321 has anyone heard of any show-stoppers are problems encountering with the latest update to ES?

I want to make sure the update and everything aftewards will run smoothly. I have number flex projects, and wondering will these have to be rebuilt, etc?

I have updated about 5 clients to 323, it was orginally 360a then some time made its way to general release. Knock on wood it looks like things may actually be starting to come together. No outstanding issues at todate (First install was mid november). I have had a few issue that turned out to data issues, of moving thru the various ES versions and the data type changing. Example in item notes doc# as "00001000" in one version but now as " 1000". Ran update script and all was well with current code.

Good Luck.

Further note :
I would review the ES Bug Request Log. I saw a mention of an issue with outbound EDI generation. If you see something that affects your operations call your support person and discuss before update.

I agree with NEmacGuy, check the list of issues. There are some fixes/modifications that are not documented.

We moved to 323 in December as it addressed some significant productivity issues. There were no major surprises or setbacks for us.

This release went through some beta testing and rewrites. We had delays getting bug fixes that we wanted. But I think the release procedure was successful in ensuring the quality of the update.

FYI we are pure distribution. 5 locations, multi binned and lotted. We move tons of product every day. So no 'manufacturing' here.

You did not mention if you are currently running an older version of ES or if you are running Progression.

If you are on Progression, Flex may well be an issue. Some of the field names have changed from Progression to ES.

If you are on an older ES version, I agree with NEmacguy and Jay, check the bug logs.
