Has anyone done this? Are there any special instructions? I cannot find a document on this anywhere.

Do you have to install the Macola ES client (wsetup.exe) on the Citrix Server or do you install then entire application?

Any insights appreciated.

Don, I have clients with one or multiple citrix servers running ES. You would run wsetup.exe from a network drive so all of the citrix servers would be running the same updates. One thing to note are some settings are stored in the registry. Things like what company you've logged into and also customizing the search display lists with additional columns.

Exact has responded that they have no info for me......what's a guy to do?

So Kevin must this be from a network drive or can you use a UNC address?

Everything I have read (The one document on Macolas Partner site) says to run the wssetup, not the entire package. It does not specify unc or mapped drive.

The only other thing is the rights and priviledges and security groups are pretty specific

The UNC path works fine. A wsetup.exe install from a network installation is preferred but a full install can also be done.

The primary difference between a "full" install and a "wsetup.exe" install is that the "full" install allows the user to update Macola ES from the Exact website directly from the Macola ES client application. As you can imagine this can be dangerous as the user can update Macola ES on the Citrix Server while other users are still running the older version of Macola ES. Don't do this. Bottom line is while you could use the "full" install, don't do it. Always create a single network install location and run wsetup.exe on each workstation and/or Terminal/Citrix Server.
