We are just implementing MRP in ES. I have tried putting a minimum quantity in the P/O Minimum field and also the Rec Minimum Order field with the hope that when MRP creates a CP PO it will create an order for no less than the qty in one of those two fields. The number in those two fields is not used by MRP as far as I can tell. If this is not the way to have MRP plan a CP order for no less than the qty specified, is there a way?

I think the control for generation of CP is based on the MRP Order Policy code

The Order Policy code is one of the controlling parameters. I am looking for the one that controls the minimum order amount. If the smallest quantity you can buy something, as an example is 27 pieces, then it only is logical to have MRP create an order of no less than 27. The two parameter fields that I referenced would seem to be the logical choices, but I have not seen them function that way. Maybe it just wasn't designed to do that.

Also try Re-Order Point for the Policy code, then it will look at order multiple

The PO minimum should work ONLY if it is the PRIMARY LOCATION of the item.
