Is it possible to assign a hot key to an ES menu option? Such as Alt-D opening up a certain window?

We are trying to automate several reports and processing options. We have a keyboard Macro programwhich is very affordable and works great with hot keys. It also works with arrow buttons(right, left,up,down} but the hot key solution would be much better.

If anyone else has ideas of how to do this with ES I am all ears.

Hi Don,

You can use the "Classic" menu style in Macola ES to do this. The Classic style mimics the old DOS Macola navigation system.

You can switch to this menu style with your macro tool using "CTRL + SHIFT + 1". Once you are using this menu style the program can just use single characters on the keyboard to navigate and launch specific Macola applications. The Escape key sends you back up one level. Once you have completed running your macros you can switch back to the "Panel" menu style by using "CTRL + SHIFT + 3".

Hello Scott,

Thanks for the reply. I already figured this out, I was remiss in not posting the solution for the rest of the world to see.

Thanks again.
