Where do some of the crystal reproting additional functions install from? I macol 7.6 sql 2000 and crystal 8.5.. Suddenly, the extra functions like macolanumbertodate and some macola bar code convert functions cannot be found.. One problem is on a terminal server 2003 and the other on a xp workstation.. I ahve removed and reinstalled both programs?

Terminal Server:
You must copy the Win\crystal folder and contents to each user profile on the terminal server. This must be part of the directory structure for each user. The CRUflmc.dll must also be registered.

The workstation issue:
This most likely is due to CRUFLMC.dll not being properly registered. See thread639-739346 for additional details.

I got the dll registered as in referenced tip. Tells me it succeded.. Under the documents and settings folder can I just create a folder called windows and the copy the crystal folder here for each profile, or do I need contents of the windows folder + contents of crystal?
Not working yet..

Thanks I think the dll is cruflma.dll? instead of cruflmc.dll..

Sorry about the typo..

If you look on your terminal server. Their will be a directory c:\Windows\Crystal . This directory must be copied to each terminal server users home directory. The users home directories are c:\documents and settings\%username%\. Create the Windows folder (empty)under the users home directory, then copy the \Crystal folder. The folder you need is the \Crystal with the contents. The final user home directory should look like:
c:\documents and settings\%username%\windows\crystal

You may want to log into the Exact Portal. There are some documents related to Crystal for Terminal Services/Citrix that may be userful.

You are correct in the users home directory. Per your advice on exact documents, I discovered this home directory is the one on the user profile in active directory. In my case, this is a network drive.. I copied the windows\crystal folder to the users folder on this network share and was succesful.. with the functions on windows terminal server 2003.

Thanks
