I am working on getting Macola client installed and working on a Windows 2003 server.
I have tried installing the client in every way I could think of or read about how to by either installing directly from the mapped drive, add and remove programs and even copied the macsql dir to the server and installed from there but I still get an

Execution error : File 'Trigger'
error code 114, pc =0,call=-1, seg=0
(signal 11)

Funny thing that I found is that even with the \macola\shared folder, reg entries and macola7.ini deleted I get the same error when I try and run either PWE or Macola32.exe.

I am installing as admin with all the privileges and have yet to install terminal server.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Turn on DEP (Data Execution Prevention) for essential Windows program and services only, or add execution permissions for all Macola applications in the Macola root directory (I don't have a list). You can find this setting under "My Computer | Properties | Advanced | Performance | Settings" on the Data Execution Prevention tab.

Once again, thanks. I have another 2003 box w/o SP1 on it running SQL and Macola/Macola client with no problems. I did not have a chance to review SP1 and did not plan to move to it yet, but this new box came with it pre-installed.

Turned out to be a show stopper.
