Hi we have devices that weigh/measure materials and could provide data to Macola's production reporting electronically. However it looks as thought the data gets distributed to a number of places. Does anyone know if there is something that could facilitate this process? Or if we could insert this data into the SQL tables directly using scripts? (We have N=Allocate components with NO G/L Distributions and D=Dependent Order Levels selected when creating a production order)

This is a perfect application for the Wisys objects. The POP object could create, release and report production based on the weight. You would need to write a VB.net program to do this but when you invoke the Wisys objects this becomes a much easier task as it hits all the tables that would be hit if you were to manually perform the transactions.
