Macintosh Pagemaker Problem

I'm at my wits end here. I have PM7 for Mac. It will not open. I get the beginning splash screen but nothing loads, just the spinning watch and the splash. After about a minute, I get our print server opening and three folders that it coneects to on the Platemaker computer open under that. Then nothing.

By way of further explination: My mac has the program on it. I have another mac that runs the RIP software to convert my files to a format that a PC station then sends to the big platemaker. On that PC are three "hot" folders that are correspond with the plate sizes needed for printing. Pagemaker, instead of opening itself, connects to the Mac print server and through it, connects to the "hot" folders on the PC.

What I have done so far: Trashed the Preferences. Followed Adobe's direction on renaming the preferences. Deleted the entire program and re-installed. Deleted the program, booted Classic with extensions off and installed. Unplugged from the network (no folders this time but no program either) then deleted and re-installed. No idea where the command is coming in to tell the computer that I don't want Pagemaker to load the other servers.
