Hi all,

We have two G4's which were bought at the end of last year. I was trying to run norton disk doctor by booting from the cd. When I do the macintosh hd is not there. If I take the cd out and reboot, the hd is back. This happens on both of them. All the other g3's are fine.

I am using Norton systemworks 5. Maybe 6 is the answer?

can anyone help or explain why the problem is occuring?

What OS is on the HDs? Do the original system CDs allow you to boot and see the HDs?
