Quick question regarding backing up Macintosh OSX.

What are you using to backup OSX? Currently, I am using Veritas Backup Exec 9.1. Though it has client software for the macintosh; it isn't that great. Often, i have to restart the agent.be from the commandline before the backups can begin. It also doesn't detect laptops for automated backups.

So for my 60 macintosh laptop users, who are in the office about 10 hours each day, I cannot get all of them backed up in a week, much less any differentials.

I am considering going back to retrospect remote for the Mac Laptop folks...

Suggestions?

Thanks in Advance

Bakbone is supposed to be really good - they were getting a lot of positive attention at WWDC last week.

bakbone (netvault) is the fastest thing I've seen in a while. But I hope they get the interface sorted as it sucks.

I'm hitting well over 160GB/hr per drive at the mo concurrent - awesome.

They were showing a brand new interface at WWDC, but I didn't get to see it - I was busy hawking my own company's products.

;-P
