Hi

Recently my laptop has been infected with, what I assume, spyware of some sort. My Zone Alarm popup keeps warning me that:
1.*various*.tmp files are trying to access windows\cmd.exe

2. MSSEARCHNET.EXE is trying to communicate with iexplore.exe

3. I am generally under attack

I keep denying access but they always comes back again.
I have searched out and deleted these 'files' residing on
windows\system32\under various folders 1023, 1033, etc but they keep returning. I have run all the usual anti Spyware progs:, ie Spywareblaster, Spyremover and Adaware to no avail so any other help would be gladly appreciated as this is now driving me bananas and making it impossible to do any work on this laptop.

Thanks .........Del

C:\WINDOWS\system32\mssearchnet.exe is the Trojan.Zlob.D Trojan and needs to be removed... Information and Removal instructions see:
the correct Forum Section would have been the Virus/Spyware Discussion ( but don't worry about it now, it was a friendly reminder...
