How can I find out this info? Dumb question, but I seem to remember a tool/command I used to use to do this.

Thanks in advance.

Depends which part you're trying to find out. Ping is pretty good at finding out either. Just ping the IP address or the name and it will return the missing info. ping -a will return the FQDN.
