Machine keeps shutting down when something in back is moved.

This is what led to my urlmon.dll corruption. When my machine is on, no matter what I move/wiggle in the back of the machine: monitor connection, speaker connection, wi-fi card antenna, the machine powers off. I figure maybe a screw or something on or under the mb. Any suggestions.
 
Don't wiggle anything at the back of your pc...

Sorry, try looking inside for loose connections or pci cards. You could try looking under the mobo. Check that the cpu heatsing and fan is secure...
 
I've seen power cords do this.
Although a loose screw under the M/B can create the problem it generally requires more than a cable wiggle to cause them to move as they tend to wedge in place.

I gotta agree with edfair on this one... as I too have been afflicted by the power cord problem before...
