Hello.

I'm a windows person normally, but I just bought an Imac out of curiosity.

Early days so far, but can anyone tell me the equivalent of the taskbar - I have the dock running, but say I've got 3 IE windows running, how do I set up so I can click between them, Windows style.

Hop that's clear. Thanks for your help.

Oh, and if it's not possible, is there something I can download that does it?

I'm sure there's some freeware out there to emulate the "task bar" (can't even believe I'm using the word).

The Dock in OS X can serve several functions beyond launching aplications .... in your open IE window(s) simply double click the title bar and the window should "Genie" into the dock and appear as a thumbnail there.
You may do this with most open windows (though I have found an app or two that will not go.

Not certain how many windows you can "dock" but I've had at least four there while running other applications .

If you need to tinker with the settings (as you must certainly have done with the Dock) do so with the Preferences panel in the dock. You can set the Genie effect there.

Does this help??
