I have a critical problem...
I replaced my last Windows 2003 Domain Controller with 2008 R2 and upgraded my Forest/Domain functional levels to 2008 R2. I pointed the smb.conf to the new domain controller and PC users connect no problem. However, I found out a day later that Mac users cannot. It accepts their password but throws a generic error and won't connect. Here's what I'm seeing in the logs...
[2012/03/13 08:16:28, 1] auth/auth_server.c:check_smbserver_security(363)
password server SERVER.DOMAIN.COM rejected the password: NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER
and...
[2012/03/13 11:08:48, 0] nmbd/nmbd_namequery.c:query_name_response(109)
query_name_response: Multiple (2) responses received for a query on subnet 192.168.1.59 for name DOMAIN<1d>.
This response was from IP 192.168.1.16, reporting an IP address of 192.168.1.16.
I need to get this fixed ASAP. Any ideas out there?
