I have to start working in the Adobe InDesign program on PC based equipment versus the Mac, which I have always used. Does anyone know how difficult or easy the transition will be to a novice PC user?

Once you are in InDesign there is practically no transition. You'll wonder what all the fuss was about.

Zel is right. Just substitute Ctrl for Cmd and you are off!
