I'm using the Terminal in OS X to SSH into a remote Linux server. When checking log files using the linux reader "less", I find that the Home, End, Page Up, Page Down keys on the Mac do not work. When I connect remotely from a Linux box, those keys on the Linux machine work fine.

Is there some configuration setting I can tweak or an alternative Terminal program? Or equivalent keystrokes?

Thanks,

Dave

Open terminal on your Mac and go to the preferences in the Terminal menu, you will find options to change appearance, the type of shell and keyboard. You will probably have to close and reopen Terminal after you make changes.

Everything will be OK in the end.
If it's not OK, then it's not the end

Thanks - I thought I had looked there, but I'll check again.
