MAC security on 470

I have enabled MAC security on a 470 with 3.1.6.02 code. I have learned MAC addresses on ports. Then I disable learning and enable security on a port by port basis. When I unplug a PC from (for example) port 11 and plug it into port 5 (causing violation), I can stll ping the switch and telnet into it. Any other communication to/from this PC is disabled.

Does anyone here know if this is a known issue? Is this expected behavior?

I am going to test the 3.6 code in a bit.
