MAc problem with video flickering?

Hi all I made a Director movie on the PC and at one point it plays a MPG movie using a Tabulieros Xtra no problem.

On the MAC I made the same movie as I will be making a hybrid CD. My MAC plays Mpg video no problem. But the thing is when I play my director movie on the MAc all plays fine except when it gets to the MPG video it flickers, and won't play. It stutters, always flickering. So I deleted the MPG video and imported a QT mov file. And it did the same thing? Any reason you cna think of?

turn of 'direct to stage'. I had the same problem and tt worked for me.
