Hi, I am running Mac OS 9.2. I have plenty of RAM installed - 897 mb. I notice that frequently I will have opened two or three programs, and still have plenty of RAM left, but my computer suddenly slows down...and I have to restart. I've gone through the ZAP pram thing, rebuilt desktop, and run Norton. I do NOT have virtual memory on. I thought this problem would go away when I recently added 512 mg of RAM. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

One thing to watch for in Mac OS less than 10, even if you have lots of RAM, you still need to allocate it to individual programs manually.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
