My Imac G4 Superdrive was working great on our Win2000 Server. I could see the files and navigate around just fine. Then, I upgraded to OS 10.2 (Jaguar) and now I bet the Error -5200 which means "bad UAM." I've downloaded the UAM OS 10.1 and later from Mactopia, installed it, reinstalled it, but still can't see the server. Microsoft Exchange Server and my Outlook 2000 are still working fine as is my connection to the internet through the Mac. I just can't access the server like I could before. Any ideas?

I have a G4 OS 10.2 server and have a problem authenticating to Win2000 server. I can access the internet, I can see our Win2000 servers but cannot access them. The network admin says he has granted all the rights and privileges necessary. I stumped!!

The whole Mac / Win 2000 integration issue is a joke. I've been trying to get a definite answer for about 2 months now with very little success.
I did find an article on the Apple site "explaining" how to integrate OSX on a domain but it was so vague as to be useless.

If anyone gets anywhere on this issue I'd be delighted to know

I do not even bother trying to use the built-in windows support. Get Samba or Sharity-light and you'll be able to share files without a problem. Then your problem is just in figuring out how to configure them, as they require a little Unix knowledge. ________
Remember, you're unique... just like everyone else.

Hi
Having researched the matter some more I decided to try Dave v4. There's an evaluation version you can download from thursby.com. Anyway this works great for browsing a Win 2k domain. It still doesn't let you log onto the Mac as if it where a Win 2k workstation.
Apparently Thursby are working on a project at the moment named "Goliath" which allows you to log on to your Mac with your domain username/pass and have your domain access permissions and home directory brought over. The good thing about this software is it is completely configured at the Mac end.
