I'm about to upgrade my laptop, and am looking at, for the first time, a Mac. Has anyone had any experience with both the Windows and the Mac desktop? Any preferences? Any caveats? I have a TX, and so I have both versions of the desktop. It looks like, from what I've seen that the Mac desktop has more features than the PC (windows) desktop.

Thanks

I am currently running a Macbook at the house. The Palm desktop appears different on the Mac then it does on the Windows. I guess I got so used to it in Windows, that I did not like it as much on the Mac. I did however like the ical calender, and the address book.

I purchased missing sync from MarkSpace for $40.00 and it made the setting up and syncing a breeze. Now I can sync with both the Palm Desktop and the ical and address book easily, and without duplicates. An added benefit is that I can publish certain categories of my calendar on my .mac account so that my business associates can see my schedule for only my work stuff.

It is possible to sync to the ical and address book without Missing Sync, but it is neither easy or reliable.

Now my Mac at home and my Windows computer at work, all play nice without duplicates and without errors.

Hope this helps.
