Are the commands to change a station much different from an Avaya PBX? Avaya Change station allows you to change Name-COS-COR-Buttons-add intercom etc. What is it like on a NEC2400?

On the 2400 there are individual commands for each aspect of a station. For example ASCL for class of service AKYD for key data and ANDD for name data to name a few.

I hope you have a lot of paper.... when I went to NEC training, the student manual was a 5" thick binder... and all the documentation came on CDRom.....

Just my 2¢

You can try they may have the books you need.
Beware the books do not give much detail , you are much better going off to a class where you will learn all the ins and outs. are paying a vendor to provide support

If you tell us what you want to do we can talk you through it as many commands are seldom used. Once you get into a command there is a help file that prompts you what you need to enter in each field. In the mat programme there are folders for each area of system programming and the station folder holds most if not all you will use.
