MAC NS4.7 not recognizing OPTION selections

We have a few people using MAC computers here and they have encountered an odd problem where web pages with the form tags of SELECT and OPTION will not properly record a choice made by a user. No matter which option is selected, the value keeps coming through as NULL.

Has anyone encountered this before? I do not use a MAC so I will be happy to relay any questions that happen to come up.
