Hi,

As the handle implies, I don't have much experience with Macs except for a few months back in 95. Anyway, working on a Mac for a friend.

I know it has O/S 9.1. Right now, all I want to do is delete a network printer, uninstall any drivers/software programs associated with said printer and troubleshoot the lost internet connection.

I know I can go to Chooser to look at and configure/install printers, is that the same place to uninstall network printers?

This mac is hooked up to a 4 port wireless router. It is given IP through DHCP. It was and has been working fine.

Could you provide any information on how to do any or all of above items, even if just a url to read up these things?

Thanks

The network printer: IF you go to Chooser on Apple menu, you tcna see what it is. You;ll have Extension (s) for this installed in System Folder/Extensions. To disable them, go to Apple menu/Control Panels/Extensions manager. Select the printer extension (s) and disable it. A restart is required. The extensions will now be in Extansions Disabled folder.

For the internet, you can try the internet setup assistant. It should be located in a file called Utilities/Assistants. If it uses Airport, there is also an airport setup assistant.
