Mac IE playing Flash is inconsistent with PC IE playing Flash? 1

Guys,

My supervisor has informed me that he has read somewhere that IE in mac is inconsistent in playing Flash objects (and its scripts, Actionscript or otherwise) with IE in PC. Is this issue discussed or listed somewhere? Please help.

But nothing really updated recently, nor do I have a Mac, so can't really help you more that that!

been of help but one more question, do codes like the one below still work on Mac IE:

window.document.passFlash.SetVariable('ElementType1', 'text');

Im using scripts like this extensively for most of my flash objects to function.

Yes! That's old me! In Cuba last spring!

As I posted, don't have a Mac (I do, but for editing only and they're not connected!), so can't really say. You'll have to rely on some other user on Mac to further help you out, and confirm that it is working or not.!

good for you! I haven't been out of my country since I was born. I wish i were working abroad, then maybe I can have time to have a vacation.

In times like these, i really miss petitpal. She helped me out before. Is it really that rare to find a Mac user who is willing to help these days, hehehe. Just kidding, but I really could use some help from them now. My boss is nagging me to do something about this issue fast. I have put in new code (most of them revised), which I think will work, but there's no way to verify that.
