The company I work for has a few programs that are writen on a Mac. They want to place these program into source safe as back up and I was wondering if anyone knew an easy way to accomplish this.

IIRC, there is a company that has allready made a client for Macintosh to interact with a VSS database. Using this, and perhaps also the Macintosh services for NT/win2k if that is where the database is, this should work just like the VSS client on Wintel platforms.
