MAC connections to Suse Linux and OES with NSS volumes

This is what we are trying to do..

- Novell OES
- NSS volumes
- Connect MACS natively
- Access the same files as Windows users without corrupting filenames, etc.

Wondering what other people are doing to accomplish this. On NetWare, you had the AFP/CIFS with Mac name space.. but you don't have native appletalk on Linux. We've used Samba shares but have file naming issues.
