Is there anyone here that knows about MAC backups or point me in the right direction? I have a graphic designer that uses a MAC and I need to back up its data. I read that time machine is the way to go and I can have a USB drive attached to the MAC that it will use as time capsule and backup the data. I also read that the backup is done in proximity with the original so I can't remove the USB drive. is this thrue? Also, can I buy any USB drive? I was thinking about a 2TB "My Book" drive.
