Anybody know how to find out the MAC address on a MIPCD card, Meridian Integrated Personal Call Director?

Thanks

Assign the IP to the card for management and attach it to a hub. Now assign your laptop an IP in the same network and attch it to the same hub. Now ping the IP of the MIPCD and then while in DOS Prompt use the ARP -A command to show the MAC address's in your cache. Since you sent a ping to the card it will be in there. Good Luck

I did ping it and came back with a response but then I tried the arp -a command and it said "no arp entries found". Is there possibly another way?

Thanks Alot!!

You are not attached to that network directly. The key here is to be on that network. If you are not then do it from the router at that end. Login to router and do an IP SHOW ARP. Good Luck

I forgot to ask. If you are local and you did ping the Ip address. Was it successful?

Hey!
I am local and I can ping the card , just can't do the arp command. It keeps coming back with no arp entries found. This is kind weird!

Thanks People!
