We have an EU who looks at the logs on his Mitel regularly.
Yesterday the Mitel Froze and had to be rebooted. On reboot the logs show entries eg:

Info Device Detection An IP device with Dn 2981 registered at CDP L2 MAC address Not Supported CDP L2 IP Address

Mitel is CXi II 512 Ram on 4.1 SP2

It is not service affecting but EU is concerned. These are obviously info messages (they are there for almost all extensions) but I need to advise him if we can stop them.

Thanks

The log is saying that CDP is not supported not the MAC address is not supported.
Switch on CDP or LLDP on the network switches and these errors will dissapear and become CDP registration logs

In short nothing to worry about.

Thanks Supernova99, I have said that it is info only, but if we can make them go away all well and good.
